Just wondering how to blur objects on Flash, without using Actionscript, if it's possible...It would be quite useful, for things like focusing and well, blurring..

I'm using Flash 7 so any Flash 8 or Flash CS3 mega blur tools won't work for me...

Either link me to a tutorial that has it, or just tell me straight out....

I dont think that works in anything pre flash 8.

You could edit it in photshop or something and blur it in there. Then import it again.

Sorry, but I don't really rummage through Flash much, I just stick to my keyframes and motion tweens, and I cant find any filter button in the properties window...

Yeah, true, but that would be a bit long winded, and wouldn't work for focusing....

But thanks anyway...

Maybe try making images in Photoshop? That will be bit harder, because u must make it longer, but effects will be better.

yeah pre-rendered blurs were what I did before Flash could do it real-time. i think this is the route you should take if your using Flash 7.

I put the "funk" in function()
