For a laptop card, I GUESS it's okay. It might be able to play some Source games, but not at max graphics.
Yay, becuase it's in my laptop.

It's an OK graphics card but hell better than mine. Can't even play Halo 1 without getting a message.
I've never played any of the Halo's, but wow... It can't even play the first one? Where like I'm sure the graphics are a bit choppy anyways? That sucks :(

That's what I have (the 256mb one).
It's not top of the line, but it handles most games reasonably well. Just with newer games like Crysis or COD4, you're going to have to play at reduced settings to get decent, smooth framerates.
My laptop that has a 2ghz intel dual core, 3gb of ram, and the 256mb 8400m GS, and it handles HL2, Doom 3, Oblivion etc... all at high settings pretty well, though those games are somewhat old.
Good to know for the most part. Do you know how I can tell if it is 128 or 256? My laptop has a Centrino 1.5ghz, 4gb of ram, and the graphics card this thread is talking about. So I guess it should run games ok? That what I wanted to use it for mostly anyways, games.

Hey now :(
Thanks for all of your answers, cellardoor6 probably being one of the bests. But now I just have one more question before I let this thread die, how can I tell if my graphics card is 128 or 256?
