I've never really had the need. I live about 3-10 minutes away from crucial bus stops, or I can just walk. Also, I never felt confident that I could drive without being too nervewracked. And I've been busy.

but you can never be sure of which examiner you get. they have a certain percentage of people that they need to fail. if it's the end of the week and they haven't failed enough people you could be failed for no reason, and they'll tell you "you didn't use your turn signal soon enough" or "you didn't check your mirrors enough"

For me it's just general laziness, afraid of driving again(not too confident about my parking and turning) and i know that driving instructor's gonna really fucking picky with me if I even make the slightest mistake. But I really need one if I'm ever going to get a job or get to college. (Obviously)

Yeah, but that doesn't mean I like to drive often, especially with gas prices as high as they are now. I'll be moving to the suburbs next month, and even then, I'm still not going to do much driving.
