Socom II for the PS2 is yet to be matched by any of the next gen consoles. I would go into full detail about how the multiplayer out plays any new game, yes including halo, but i have written it too many times. My full review is at.

link doesn't work... what fo you mean by "matched". as in done better? I didn't like socom 2 and frankly didnt understand what the hype was all about when it game came out. The only thing i found unique with Socom was the ability to customize weapons, but now we have Cod4 and and MGS4 that have "matched" it.

also forgot to mention socoms multiplayer was shit too because basically filled with a bunch of noobs thats realised that they can win entire matches just by chucking grenades across the map.

Every time I played that game online it was a cluster fuck of shrapnel with grenades going off every god damn second, and didn't end until the match was over. it was dumb and required no skill.

I second that Narf.

I don't want to sound like a fanboy, but Final fantasy games 3,5,6,7 were all better than that piece of shit.

The online play was way to damn stupid... I tried to be a real player... bam grenade. So overall there is no point. Dude Halo is better because it takes more than just sticks and random grenade throws.
