for someone to do artwork for a flash? i believe, and several teachers and friends that i got some talent with drawing, painting etc. i would like to offer assistance to anyone looking for an artist. here is an example of my work, i will post others later i personally enjoy working with japanese anime, but i am flexible with it. feel free to post with comments or pm me to set up an agreement if u like it

Sorry, but it is a very poor drawing. The body is off center, the head is a very strange shape, the clothes have no definition whatsoever (Though, I'm horrible with that, too), and there are hundreds of other little things.

All I can say is practice. By the way you talk, it seems like you like art. Just stick with it, and you should improve, but this picture isn't too great, honestly.

u see i was going with a whole " end of batlle" type thing, and the head looks weird cuz his head is turned and its an anime drawing

than make something that looks "different". when people advertise, they usually put up their best work.

You should study the human body, clothes and faces a bit more.
Also expressions on poeple's faces is very important when you draw someone, and the way they hold something or do something.
This isn't close to something good. You should try to re-draw something that already is drawn or just re-draw a photo, you can learn alot when you that;

Not a good enough excuse, sideways anime heads can still look alright.

from what i can see, you need to read a book or two and practice a lot, because your anatomy is all wrong. even if it is anime, you still need proper anatomy. also the image is flat, you need proper shading. and you need to follow the rules of symmetry.

is that a penis sword? and either way, your not an absolutely terrible artist, you just need to read a few books on this subject. (learn how to make construction lines)

i understand that and all but if u think about it,not alot of hand drawn stuff on NG doesnt look that good, just look at the awesome series, the drawings are horrible and its probably the best videos on NG

I beg to differ on the whole " not alot of hand drawn stuff on NG looks good ". There's plenty of people who " hand draw stuff", and some of the work they post is F****** amazing. As for the Awesome series, the way the characters are drawn fits the series perfect.

he is right, i mean scorpian himself posts up a lot of good hand drawn pictures. come to think of it, about 40% of all art forum users post hand drawn pictures and more than half are good. also, im so fucking tired of everyone talking about Egoraptor's drawings, its like they are all in a special club or something. the reason the awesome series looks simple is because people responded positively to the first cartoon, so he cept the style. you would know that if you had read his interview and seen his other pictures.

You are really good making excuses for yourself. Theres Tons of drawn scanned work here on the forums that will blow you away. And excuses like, "This was an end Battle" "the head was turned" "its anime" really isnt going to help your skills.

accept the critiques, and follow them up with improvements, not excuses.

Your art needs a drastic change.

Read some books or at the net about how the human is built. One step at a time, every body part needs studying. Visualize what youre about to draw and how you should do it and use everything youve learned from the studies. Practice on every body part before you begin though. Might take long but believe me, its really worth it if you want to become at least a decent artist.

Also, youre not ready for the freelance world neither anime even. Just practice, take help from the people here and follow the advices offered here. And good luck.
