The sword is cool, but I suggest looking over the styles of armor which Samurai wear. Now can you maybe check my art thread?

It's irrational that his head band is long enough to reach his feet, maybe you could shorten it a bit?

You have the right attitude, but really, ignore insults, and absorb criticism. You really aren't that bad, you just need practice.

i used Ps cs3,

ani i know what you mean, but thats actually the way i wanted it to be, the long white headband causing a constrast to the browns of the samurai himself.

also, its a style... ever seen afro samurai? i got addicted to watching that for inspiration a couple weeks ago

Maybe a more detailed background would be cool. Like a couple of dead warriors or something.

The headband's a bit long, and it's quite angular. Last time I checked, cloth doesn't bend like that. The cap needs to sort of "flow," but other than that it's pretty good for a speed sketch. If you spent a little more time on it, it would be tremendously better.

yeah, i see what you mean.. i suppose i was going more for a style with the headband.. mabye as if hes just run in and slammed his sword into the ground..
