Hopefully! Who needs installable PC games when you can play 100,000's of them for free
on game sites! Plus, what about games for portable gaming systems? THEY WON'T DIE OUT
WILL THEY? I LIKE MY PSP!!!

PC gaming isn't going to die out any time soon. The PC is the home RTSs and MMOs which has a loyal fanbase, and many people prefer to play FPS on their PC because the mouse and keyboard is just simply awesome :)

Game companies will start making games that won't need a top of the range computer anyway because thats where they will get more money.

Split across all the platforms, including all hardware right? Games are about 60 - 70 bucks.

What do you not understand about software sales? This obviously does not include hardware. You can ignore the revenue if you wish to be a PC fanboy; however, you cannot ignore the units being five times higher.

Computer games sales were $910.7 million with 36.4 million units sold; and, There was a record $2.0 billion in portable software sales with 77.5 million units sold.
Just for the PC, not including hardware or digitally distributed software. About 50 bucks a game, sometimes cheaper (over steam for instance).

Yes, the debate was consoles vs. PC so it is a fair comparison...

As you can see, game consoles are dominating PC gaming. PC gaming has been on the way out for sometime.
Right...

You are kind of dense.

PC gaming will never die out. It has something for everyone. If you can't find something right for you you can now make your own game for free.
