It's not like no one saw it coming or anything. I think MGS came out too late to save Sony, and they need a couple more games under their belt.

i don't care i like my PS3. Its way better because i got an expensive system for really cheap. Even if Sony cuts off its ties with the PS3 i will still play it.

Actually I checked out FF XIII if what I read is true then the new FF will be for the PS3 and the 360. This was according to Sqare/Enix since they mentioned not playing favorites. MGS 4 will have to do for now, but I'm sure they have something else up their sleeve.

That should sell very well considering FF's enormous fanbase, but the revenues from it alone will probably barely put a dent in that $3 billion deficit. Sony need more to pick up the pace in terms of their video game industry.

Crap this isn't good for Sony, I hope everything turns out alright in the end.

Microsoft dominate the PC market with 90% of all PCs running on Windows.

Then they've got stuff like MS Office.

Microsoft are in no danger of liquidation, to any extent.

This could mean no PS4 but that is still not likly, but Sony will not invest time and effort into a failing system if this goes on.

Either way that's the cycle of profits/expeacs.

I heard something about that to a while back... that Square was thinking whether or not to make the game exclusive to PS3.

Interesting. I remember a while back Sony bought a large chunk of Square Enix. But Square stated that even though they bought a big margin it didn't mean that were going to stop making FF games for other consoles. In fact, I think it was a waste of money for Sony because Square Enix seems to be favoring Nintendo! Just look at all the GBA remakes. Also the remakes for the DS (FFIII and FFIV. Also I'm pretty sure V and VI will follow... hopefully).

Well I shouldn't be surprised by that, however that means they decided to go back on their "no favoritism" speech, not even 5 months ago. Oh well live and learn ;-) Thanks for the update by the way I guess I should have kept a better eye on FF 13's console developments. I hope that their still going to have DQ 9 on the DS.
