Okay so my totally amazing mom comes home and gives me $50 for no apparent reason. So I thought about saving it for gas and shit, but then after we went to dinner, we went to Fry's afterwards.

There, I saw they had a few Gutair Heroes for the DS and I was like "Hey I saw this on TV and it looked cool. It's $50? I have that much!" So I bought it.

The controls are kind of hard to get used to. For one, your wrist is in an awkward position for an entire song and it begins to hurt a lot after a few minutes. Star Power is activated by saying "ROCK OUT!" into the mic which is pretty cool. I haven't gotten very far in this game yet, but has anyone else got it yet?

It's decent, but personally I think it's the weakest Guitar Hero setlist yet. It really depends on taste, but if you prefer hard rock and metal you're going to be upset. Breed, China Grove and Anna Molly are the big gets that I would have loved to see in a full-fledged Guitar Hero. Also, a fifth of the setlist has been recycled from Guitar Hero 3 so that's a big letdown for me.

So far, I'm not enjoying it. It's a bit of a letdown

The guitar grip is really hard to get used to, and especially frustrating if you have big hands. The setlist is definetly the weakest in the entire series. It's not that I dislike bands like Maroon 5 or Daughtry (that's all subjective), is just that the songs aren't very fun or challenging to play. A lot of my friends complained that that exclusion of the fifth fret would make the game too easy. After playing the game, I can say for sure that it doesn't need help in that department from one less fret.

I honestly think that it looks pretty crappy, the wrist strap looks uncomfertable and there are only twenty five songs. I'm just going to wait for Guitar Hero World Tour.
