I saw this tut on how to turn off other computers from mine on youtube.
what you do is go into cmd and then type in shutdown -i and it brings up a menu
why can i not browse for other computers? why does it say the directory service is unavailable?
and what format should i put the computer names in when i press add? IP or actual name?

you can only shutdown other computers your authorised to (other computers on your LAN) and nobody here is going to talk about it being against the rules.

I tried it in my school and it's banned. Chances are it'll be disabled in yours as well.

i think he means when you save "command.com" in notepad and save it as cmd.bat or something.
