I'm about to submit the collab and BAM! Feuse and Studio-Nightbird have not added me as flash portal buddies. I added them and contacted them to accept my buddy request.

Should I submit now, anyway, and when the request is accepted, I'll add them to the Flash co-author list?

Eh, dude, don't sweat it. Scores jump all over the place during the first few hours after submission. I had a submission that went from 2.82 to 3.40 over time. Besides, if we all like how it came out, isn't that enough? I think we did a pretty damn decent job.

Anyway, the thing that kind of irks me is why people are reviewing poorly because there was no story (since when was there supposed to be one?) or because everyone animated their own ideas for their parts. Just doesn't seem right to vote low on that basis alone.

I think we'll get Daily Feature, at least I hope so. It would be nice, but even if it doesn't make it I'm glad we finally got it in the portal.

And yah, the reviews about the story don't make sense to me either. They're things to keep in mind though for future collabs. I guess what people wanted was something with a common theme, but hey, I like how we did it.

I'm glad I was able to work with everyone involved in this collab, and I would gladly work with all of you again in the future. If any of you ever start a collab just let me know. I would love to join. Especially you ShortMonkey. You did a fantastic job organizing this.

It's fine I guess, We'll get an award, that's for sure. In the end the final product is something we can all be satisfied about. It was an honor working with you all, If SM ever decides to do another collab I will most certainly join.

I know the wrong decisions I made that brought downsides to this collab but everyone else here achieved more than I could ask for. Thank you, everyone!

Seeing as this is over now, I will have a break before starting my next music video collab. Until then, I encourage you to participate in the Mini-Game Collab 2. A success for the future but going through the stage we used to be at where it could really use some help. I strongly encourage everyone to participate there.

And I also encourage you to join Holiday Collab, a collab recently revived and lead by a great Flasher, a participant of HAND and a supporter of Prayer.

I hope to work with you guys again! I will most probably be starting up another collab later on and, as you would expect, I will not make the mistakes I made with this one and bring more success to the hard-working animators and collaboraters of Newgrounds. You guys deserve the best NG can give.

I don't mind poor reviews as long as they give some actual insight and guidance by pointing out what was wrong, what they liked/disliked, and what they think should have been changed to help the authors get better. I have seen many collabs do exactly the same thing as we did, get great scores, and yet that was okay. Since when did people feel song collabs have to have a story behind them, or must be in sync with the song? Anyway, we did great, Daily 3rd is still quite impressive. Remember the compliments, and screw the insults.

As for not having Flash submissions, I can't totally blame them. Flash is expensive, and it cost me quite a bit for even just the education version.

RazorHawk's right, who gives a shit what some 13 year old who never has tried animation thinks.

Anyway, we did very well. Especially seeing that this is not a very popular song and many people don't like it.

For my next collab (which will be started in a while), I'm thinking of doing an inspirational ballad. I've done the pop/rock mainstream song, Have a Nice Day. I've done a reasonably heavy disturbing (well, the animations made it disturbing), Prayer.

I'm thinking of doing Iris by Goo Goo Dolls. What do you guys think?

If I did a song collab, I would do Fort Minor - Right Now and have people stick to the lyrics while giving it a very urban/inner city kind of theme. Only thing is I'm not sure if I meet the requirements to host a collab.

It is quite long but on the Youtube it's longer because there's about a minute of crap after the song. It's around 4:00.
