Well, about my parts, i have very nice ideas for them. Part 1 will be a coordinated with the music sword-fight (everybody loves sword fighting! : D) and part 41.. wont be as cool but will fit with the music and have nice art :)
BUT i'm not starting them yet. I'll finish the scene i'm making of visions first, so I'll start this tomorrow/sunday, i really needed something short to keep me motivated and a thread to visit :)
Unless i see the collab dying before I fiinish i'll finish them so dont worry, but i dont think a disturbed collab can die, really :)
And i think that's pretty much what i had to say..

No worries man, I haven't done flash in a while - that's why I chose to do a collab instead of animating the whole thing myself. I'd rather be told my part is crap than have a crap part in my collab. And everyone usually looks at their work as much better than everyone elses. Just the way it goes. :S

Well, tbh, I don't think you're part will be up to par. Mainly because of the stick figure and you don't seem that good at drawing. Sorry. I'm sure you will get better in the future and this collab will probably last a while before it's finished. If you think you've improved immensely and this collab has a few parts free, feel free to apply for one again but show me some of your newest work. :)

Here's what I got so far for part 9.

There's still much work to be done. I only got the basic mouth structure, but soon I'll add teeth, eyes, the works. The opening will feature hands sliding on the guitar.

Well, if your motivation is gone, sorry. The answer to your question is: no due date, if you take a part I'd like it completed before a month though. Plenty of time.

Dude, just stop. ShortMonkey led the "Have a Nice Day" collab, which received a daily second, and has a score of 4.28.

He knows full well the kind of parts he's going to have in this collab, and you can bet your ass that in the end, he will have everything he wanted from the beginning. People trust him, because he's already ran a VERY successful collab.

If all you're going to do is complain, then there is no reason for you to be here. How about you just make your part better instead? Get rid of that crappy stick, and change it with a detailed character. Fix the syncing because it's way off, and change the mouths to not look so ridiculously unprofessional.

yea... so far the parts that have been displayed do not seem to be of par.
I'll eventually decide on which part I want.

And don't listen to some of these n00bs shortmonkey. We want this collab to be excellent and something less than par shouldn't be accepted into the collab. If we can display really good parts, then i'm sure animators who produce much more quality animations will want to join in on this disturbing music video.

again... it's DISTURBED!!!!! It might be good to make the parts "disturbing".

I'm not really a fan of a stick man jumpin in the air... or half ass drawn graphics with motion tween zooms. It's not attractive... and not suitable for a disturbed music video.

Parts for a disturbed video should show emotion, show some feeling. The planning process is very key to a successful part. Close your eyes and try to think of how it would look like.

If I end up not going on vacation, I might take a part or two. And right now it looks like we're not going. So I'll get back to you on Monday to let you know if I'm joining or not.
