Great idea and sketch... but the final graphics will have to be better (I'm not sure if you intended the graphics in there to be a sketch or final graphics).

They'll be final graphics. The only bit that I've finalized so far is the demon thingy's head.

On a serious note, I actually like the concept. Different than mine obviously, but I do like it. Good luck with it. May the best animator win. =P

I guess that means I'm going to have to work extra hard on Part 18.

I think it would be smarter to compete for a part that isn't finished yet.

Dirtshake, It's lookin good man! there's no shortage of frame by frame in your parts and that's what makes them great

Just send me the .fla with the logo but it must have the same symbol name as the other logo. That way I can replace the old logo with the new one by a simple copy and paste.

maybe have the grid lines move on the part in which he's running? For example... the semi-vertical lines... have them move to the left making it look like he's running on that surface.

As for part 15, I plan on having it a 4 perspective part and as much frame by frame as possible. :)

But if you think it'd be better with eyes i'll add eyes, but i'd need to add eyes to the other parts as well..

Colour is good. Just it looks a bit messy at times. :)

I think no eyes is fine to that part if you ask me. It gives your parts a unique artistic look.

Here's my part 20 so far. I had to set the glow to low for this so it wouldn't lag majorly, but I'm sure on a final version with a preloader and such it'd work fine on high quality. Let me know if it's still lagging, my computer's being a little screwy so I can't really tell.

WIP for Part 18.

I'm trying to animate a little bit everyday during finals week. This is what I was able to get done before study time.

I realize the hands look horrible. I suck at drawing hands. But thanks to this tutorial I just found I will be re-drawing them the next time I work on the part.

I don't think that will be good enough to beat dirtshake's part 20. Dirtshake's part shows the perfect scared emotion from a shadow type figure.... But I do like the style you chose for that purple glowing character Tazar. If your part doesn't beat dirtshake's part... maybe you could use that character for part 39 or 34 since those parts aren't finished and those users seem inactive.

I've seen Jazza's tutorials before. I was actually very glad I found them after watching his movies. I've adopted his construct idea in my animation, and it helps a lot when drawing anything, from simple poses to more complicated poses, such as fight animations. Sometimes I roughly animate a movement in the construct and then animate over it with finer detail.

Thanks for the props to my part by the way. Your parts look awesome too, and your new movie rocked.
