Anyone seen the Mini Clubman? It's the one with two doors on the back, kind of like a fridge-freezer.

Anyway, there's a reason that it's slogan is "The other Mini" -- because it's the Mini Cooper's ugly twin brother that was locked away in the attic for most of it's life, until one day the parents grew a conscience and let it loose on the world in all it's ugly glory, much to our dismay.

Every time I'm driving behind one on the road I want to vomit. ;P

Oh yeah, and some slightly belated kudos to the Nissan design team for managing to come up with a brand new, wonderfully innovative concept in aesthetics and use of space...

Anyhoo, this gives me an idea. Let's have a competition to find the world's ugliest car! We'll start off moderate, and work our way to hideous. The winner will be the person whose car is unanimously declared as unbeatable in the ugly stakes.

There won't be any real prize, just major laughs from your fellow CEC members.

Rules:

- The car must be in production (i.e. no concepts)
- The car must not have ceased production before the last 20 years (i.e. no cars from the 1950's etc.)

Let's get the ball rolling with the Fiat Multipla! For some reason, the designers decided to give it some form of hideous growth on the front. What an eyesore!

The second gen Multipla isn't nearly as ugly as the first gen one though so at least the designers learned from their mistake.

I'm not disclosing the name of my car for the time being as I have another slightly more hideous car that I will post later on in this competition that has a very similar name and I don't want anyone to steal it.

I'd have to go with the Smart Sports car. Seriously hideous, I wouldn't be seen dead driving one.

Just found out that this week's Top Gear is the last of the current series. Was it just me, or was it a really short series?

I don't want to have to wait ages for new episodes again...

Last episode of Top Gear was great. And yeah, it did seem like a shorter series, but I think they said they're back in the Autumn, so it's not a massive wait.

Yeah it was an excellent series finale. Thank Christ someone finally knocked Simon Cowell off top spot and there's a new car on top of the board (once they pick it up again lol).

And Captain Stig...I mean Captain Slow did a great job on winning the final race ;P

Oh yeah, a completely new design that no one has ever seen. I mean the Honda element, or Toyota's youth-aimed motor company, Scion's xB looks Nothing like that!

Top Gear was awesome. Jay Kays dance when he beat Cowell was priceless and that Gumpert was insane. The race between Sti...I mean James and the Kraut race driver was epic.

The Spitfires and Astons (all in British Racing Green no less) was quite the entrance. I also lmao'd at the Germans a fair bit and when Hamster "celebrated" after his win...

My next ugly car entry, the Ssangyong Actyon! It seems to be some sort of hideous cross between a Citroen Picasso and a 4X4. Makes me smile every time I look at one.

My car is still in the garage being fixed. They're waiting on an order for some small part... a bumper bracket I think. At least I have a courtesy car to get me from A to B.

Either way, there's been work done on it. The radiator looks new on it so I'm guessing it has some extra horse under the hood...
