Ended up going to the casino last night and drinking a hell of a lot. Had a load of bottles of Peroni and then started on the Gray Goose and lemonade. Honestly that stuff is lovely. Little pricier than Smirnoff but I can definitely taste the difference.

Plus I walked out £520 up so price wasn't really a concern :)

Well gents, I've come up with a brilliant idea for a business.

Bartending consulting.

The idea is that I help bars and restaurants make more money and cut costs through things like sponsorships, up selling, and revamping cocktail lists.

Say for example a restaurant is starting up, they need equipment, the staff need training, and they cater to the elite. Go to a company like Bacardi who make Grey Goose and say that this restaurant will promote Grey Goose in exchange for Gray Goose branded glasses, shakers, or a giant mural of the Grey Goose logo.

Another concept would be a free round of drinks to a party that has spent over X amount of dollars, which would likely result in a bigger tip to the waiter and keep up company moral.

There are tons of tricks and tips I learned from bartending, like asking the customer would like a double (which is also illegal). Another thing I did was take the sampler bottles that are suppose to be giveaways and pour them into a half full bottle.

Welp, im cutting back on drinking for awhile. I'm on Day 3 so far, which doesnt seem like alot, but you must understand that i am surrounded by free alcohol at home, i am surrounded by free alcohol at work, and i am surrounded by people who enjoy drinking alcohol.

I'll still follow this club, cause i do still enjoy the aspects of alcohol. Time to clean up tho.

Wish I had the balls to do something like that. It's not that I'm dependent on alcohol, but on the flipside it's not that I love the taste of it either... it's just another drink. I was at a gig last night with a lemonade and it just felt wrong....

Going to a club on Tuesday, free bar between ten and midnight. I'll be drinking from about 1pm anyway so I'll be fairly drunk already. Then on Wednesday I'll hopefully feel ok because I'm going round a mates to watch the Royal Rumble and sink a fair few beers.

Last night was the first time I've been out since the Manchester meet, which was only a week ago anyway. It was nice to pay what I consider normal prices for beer. £2.70 for a Guinness sure as hell beats paying £3.95. Think I drank too much too soon though as I felt pretty pissed before closing time and had to stumble home.

There's this one guy in town who is far too good at playing pool. He basically gets free games all night seeing as there's generally a winner stays on and the new guy pays type set-up. Think I played him three times and lost them all. I've beaten him once in the past, but it seems like I got lucky. He seems far more sober than everyone else playing though. Wouldn't be surprised if he tried to hustle people out of their money.

A friend of mine is like that, he's ridiculously good at shooting pool. There has been several times when we've played pool in a bar and I didn't even get to shoot because he made every shot, and that's even with a few drinks in him. The only times I've beat him is when I was buying his drinks and making him match me beer for beer & shot for shot because I can handle the alcohol better than him. Although, even then it's still not a guarantee that I'll win, but it does make it more competitive when he's drunk and I just have a nice buzz going. That's the only way I can enjoy playing him because otherwise he wipes the floor with me every time.

I want in.

I don't like beers or ciders.
I do like stouts and ales.
I especially like spirits. Dark spirits.
I don't dabble with cocktails, I'll either have a neat rum or a rum and coke.
I hate Jack Daniels and Smirnoff Vodka.

I'm drinking shit Shiraz from 2011 right now, not a big wine drinker but I prefer reds and rose to whites. Give me some good wines they're cheap and get you sloshed.

I only had hard cider twice, but they were both delicious. One was peach cider and the other was what I guess would be considered regular hard apple cider. I think the apple was better. I love non-alcoholic apple cider and all kinds of sparkling cider, too. We tend to have sparkling non-alcoholic cider for most big occasions like Thanksgiving and Christmas. best carbonated stuff ever.

Also, Shock Top and Blue Moon are delicious beers. Try that shit.

I don't dabble with cocktails, I'll either have a neat rum or a rum and coke.

You're missing out. Try a Tom Collins, John Daly, or a White Russian. They're all awesome.

I hate Jack Daniels and Smirnoff Vodka.

I like both of those, but for vodka, I prefer Svedka. It's just better and it's cheaper, which is a bonus. I think it's distilled more than Smirnoff.

I prefer white wine. I still have not had a red wine that I liked, but I've had white wines that I liked. I'd take champagne over any wine, though.

Bring me champagne when I'm thirsty...

I've learnt something very interesting (to me).

I used to believe that you couldn't drink on the day that you got a tattoo, t5his is because alcohol thins the blood and can course you to bleed quite abit from it. I now know that it is only before you have the tattoo that you can't drink.

I have my next tattoo booked for the 11th of Feb and armed with my new knowledge i will be entering the pub across from the studio almost straight away to ease the pain with a nice JD and Coke.

I said no to drugs but they just wouldn't listen.

I'm sure a tattoo on your knob would hurt somewhat.

More stating because they do :P. I know it varies from person to person and also where you are getting inked is a factor but it's pretty safe to say that yes, a tattoo does cause pain.

I imagine that would feel pretty nasty, although I always wanted a smiley face on my shaft. Just for the lols really.

Tonight's a boring bog standard rum and coke night. It's spiced cause I don't like Morgan's Dark. Rum's definitely my favourite drink right now since vodka doesn't do so much for me but I wouldn't mind looking it again.

I still have plenty of Morgan's dark rum left over from Christmas/New Year. Still need to buy some Coke to mix it with. I wouldn't say I hate it, but it's not something I'll be buying again any time soon. Looks like I have about 3/4 of a litre left to get through.

Just tried drinking some straight. Oh god it burns.

If you're having it neat put it in the freezer, it's really nice ice cold or do that and then have ice with it, otherwise plain old cold with cold coke is still good.

Don't reckon I'll bother drinking it on it's own. I will definitely be drinking it cold in the future though. Previously I just had it stored at room temperature along with the Coke which wasn't really that nice if I'm honest. I stuck some ice in it on one occasion, right before I ran out of Coke, and it definitely tasted better or at least felt nicer to drink.

I still feel a little more experimental than usual. Once I get this bottle done with I'll move on to another spirit that I've not yet tried. Just not too sure what I'll go for. I was considering Scotch before, but I'm still not too sure I could bring myself to get through an entire bottle of it. Past experiences made me think that I'll never be a whisky drinker, which is fine by me because I don't really want to wear a tweed suit anyway.

I was on whisky all night tonight and had a fucking great time. I dunno if all that stuff about drinking different booze giving you a different experience is true or not, but if it is then whisky is the one for me.

I've never really tried much whisky to be honest. Free samples from tours if distilleries is about it.

More intoxication will be heading my way tonight. Planned to stay in and get some coursework done, but I'm making no progress with it, so I'm heading out instead. There's a band which has a pretty good reputation around these parts playing tonight and I don't really want to miss them seeing as they never seem to be down here much.

They're called Full Metal Racket. Metal/rock cover band basically. They're pretty good. Sure as hell beats sitting in a night club listening to whatever shite they have on in there.

Can't remember if this is one of the cheaper pubs to get Guinness from though D:

Work was pretty dire today for the first few hours of my shift. Was so hungover. Thankfully one of the girls there made me coffee and fed me jaffa cakes. What a nice lass.

I'm SpamOfCan and I've been drinking for at least five or six years. I drink beer almost everyday, and sometimes I like to squirt cum into the beer and then drink it.

That's all.

Never thought I'd say this, but I LOVE RUGBY. Well, I don't really, but when it means my local is selling pretty much all beers for £2 a pint I guess I can appreciate the sport a little more. I also seem to have acquired a new taste for Jagerbombs.

All in all it was a good night. 6 pints of Guinness, 3 Jagerbombs and a vodka Coke which someone so kindly bought me. Bumped into two old school friends that I've not seen in years, played pool with the local punks and was asked to dance by some really creepy old guy...

Only downside is that I didn't pay much attention to the band and that was the whole reason I went out in the first place. Actually can't think of a single song they played besides the two Motorhead ones. Bomber and Ace of Spades.

Oh well. Fun's over. Back to trying and failing to make progress with this coursework.
