My friend told me that he bought two Jack and Coke's the other night, and it set him back £18.60! That's £9.30 for a Jack and Coke..! You can buy a whole round of drinks for that if you know the cheap places to go to.

And yeah, I rarely think of the next morning except maybe if I have to get somewhere early or something like that. But usually it's just 'Fuck everything, I'm at this party.'

Nice. I'm thinking of going out tonight for a few pints with a mate. We were going to go out into Portsmouth for a small party, which is a good 20 miles away, but in the end we decided to just chill out locally, as we don't know more of the people who are going, and even the hostess is merely an acquaintance.

Drinking in old man pubs is much more fun.

Yeah here in Switzerland if you go to a shop called Denner, you can get three Bottles of cheap champagne or four bottles of cheap wine or about ten (amount varies slightly depending on what type you buy) 0.5l beer cans for 10 Fr.- which is less than 5 £. and for a group of about four or five people about 30 Fr.- is enough usually. Of course it varies slightly depending on the group you're with but luckily alot of people my age are pussy drinkers so I usually get at least my fair share.

Anyway so today's Friday and my last day at compulsary school, which means that it's time to party. So this afternoon I'm going to the Denner which I told you about to buy some Booze. And then around seven we'll all be heading toward the local Grill place to have a nice Grill 'n' Chill for old times sake. Man writing about it is getting me excited.

PS: I was at a festival about three weekends ago it was pretty cool. Pogo and what not.

PPS: We (the class) all took a day off on Wednesday to go to a theme park where I soon noticed that they had Guinness mmmmmh :)

Friday's finally here but funds are pretty low due to me not getting paid till tomorrow. Therefore it's not looking I'll be having any beer tonight, I do have a bottle of Southern Comfort though. Ease the pain ;)

I know... He does live in London though, so things are a bit more expensive there. If it was me, though, I wouldn't have paid it. I was at some club once who tried to charge me £8.50 for a drink of sorts (can't remember what it was - too drunk at the time), and I told them to fuck off with their extortionate prices. I probably slurred the word 'extortionate', but I felt I told them pretty good ;P

A quality hangover cure is a pint of water before you go to bed, and then bananas in the mroing. Apparently, the potassium in the bananas helps cure your hangover quicker.

the bannasa will have a similar effect as the gatorade, but sometimes when you are really hung over you just dont wanna eat anything

gatorade will suit you better then water because it not only rehydrates you but also improves your salts

Hahaha, £8.50? Fuck those guys! Talking of that, this Thursday I was in the pub and I thought: 'Oh lol, it's been months since I last drank a cocktail! Let's have one for who knows, it might actually taste good!' And yes, it tasted good. It also cost me EU5. I remember saying I never drink cocktails, probably here and in other places. From now on this will be true again, until maybe in another few months when I'll be drunk enough to actually wonder what a Vodka Redbull tastes like.

Ah, I know the issue, though I'm pretty fucking glad I won't be seeing most people of my year anymore. I was in Latin-Maths section, so as you can guess most of the people in my class were fucking sociopaths and shit like that. They'd never come out for a drink, so I had to find friends elsewhere (even though I have plenty of drinking comrades here where I live =]). I keep contact with the 'coolest' people from there though, and I just went to see Slayer with two of them yesterday. It was awesome and drunk afterwards.

That's true. After further consideration, maybe you DID the right thing. There's nothing more annoying than a friend not listening to you because he has a stupid crush on someone. More than one arm has been raped by my fist because of that.

I'd say it failed me the nights when I threw up. Like that one time, we were having a party somewhere on New Year's Eve, and we planned to go to a bigger party somewhere else afterwards. I drank so much during the pre-party that I had to leave when the others went to the other place, and next morning I kept hearing how great it was that.

Yeah I had a similar experience the Friday before last (I told you about it) I just drank beer way too fast (curse filling it into a pet bottle because it's easier to drink than out of cans). So anyway I ended up throwing up, after telling my friends I was going to the loo (to throw up). And then instead of going back to where they were I just staggered home and arrived home at 10:30pm. I can't remember any of the journey home, apart from staggering through the door after having struggled to get the key inside the door, where I then drunkenly denied being drunk to my mum only to admit it the next day. lol the funniest thing was she thought me drinking was a first hahahaha.
My poor friends thought I'd fell in the lake or something. Which I might have done quite easily while I was washing my face in it after puking. That was probably my worst experience so far, wasn't enough to stop me drinking twice the next week.

I can't believe I haven't seen this place before. Considering I just turned 21, and have had some prior drinking experience in college, I too would like to join. I assume this is a place to share stories involving alcohol and the consequences that result from our actions with it. Am I right or am I wrong?

Anyways, like I said, my 21st was two days ago and it was a fairly busy night. I went out to dinner and had to order my first legal drink with my family watching. They acted like it was a big deal when the waitress carded me, to which I had to roll my eyes to. After dinner I went to hang out with my friends at one of their houses and we played drinking games for a few hours. I recreated my the trademark among my friends of downing 4 shots of whiskey in under 20 seconds because it was a special occasion and needless to say by midnight I was pretty gone. I passed out on his couch and woke up to a lovely headache, but I was expecting that anyways.

Overall, it was a really great night, but I don't think I'll be drinking like that again. Now that I can get alcohol whenever I want, the thrill of underage drinking will probably do away with my party drinking days.

No, I don't think I've ever had a night as crazy as my 18th (which as you probably know is the legal age in the UK). Although, saying that, I start university in September, so I might end up getting pretty trashed during fresher's week.

Maybe it depends what type of person you are or if you're use to doing stuff that's against the law. well, i'm reacting allergic to water, so i have to drink alcohol to survive. Of course i use alcohol for washing, cooking and showering, but since i'm living in germany, it's no problem...

The weekend is nearly upon us and I can't wait. The usual Friday night in (work in the morning), which means I'll have half a bottle of Southern Comfort and be just about fine in the morning. Saturday afternoons when the fun really begins. Couple of mates back to mine, currently got nine cans and half a bottle of vodka. Then hit the pub for mass drinking of pintage.

Got a bottle of Micky Fins from Tesco today as well. 15% and it looks so downable. Saturday will be fucking great :) That and the pretty bottle and colour helped make up my mind :P
