Yesterday: two hours of free champagne followed by twenty beers and jagermeisters... Needless to say, I was fucked.

Pretty decent night, cleared $100 in tips, had a $40 tab going and that's with discounted drinks lmao. Mostly from giving friends free drinks, but they'll spend more money there so it works. Tomorrow should be busy also oddly enough, they have me starting at 9 so I'm assuming the best. Even better is that the tips get split evenly with everybody.

Not this weekend coming up, but the weekend after, my girlfriend and I are going to stay with my dad in Toronto for my step-mom's sister's wedding. My dad already made it quite clear that there will be lots of drinking. Should be fun :)

Weddings are always a lot of fun for me. Usually the wine is free so me and my cousin just get smashed, always a good time. Even better is summer weddings when I can buy a fat cigar and we smoke and drink outside. You and your girl have a room all to yourselves? ;P

Just got home from working at the bar, pretty good night. Had three bartenders and two waitresses (usually one waitress and two bartenders), cleared $100, which was disappointing considering we were charging day prices (which are cheaper) and we were pretty busy. Made an extra $31 for giving some dude a double 151* and coke after hours lol. One of the waitresses did the same, so it's a nice little extra. Not bad for Thanksgiving Sunday.

Also this week I have been drunk every night, with a climax yesterday. I haven't been sober that day... I woke up drunk and started drinking again. Goood week.

Cutting back didn't work, neither did not smoking weed.
Drank a 12 pack with one buddy, shared 3 2L coolers, and some other beers.
I woke up kinda drunk, and I'm kinda drunk right now, but not really..

I just got back from visiting my bro in Newcastle. 3 triples for £5. That's a dangerous money saving deal. I need to detox.

Tonight was the night that we got our beloved shipment of alcohol at the bar I work at.

Among the lot was a new spiced rum made by Lambs, which has a higher alcohol content and is cheaper than our dear friend Captain Morgan. Bottle looks pretty too.

Also, I'm thinking of going as the Kokanee ranger for Halloween, should be a simple costume.

Over $90 I spent.

The bourbon was about $45 and the port wines just over $20 each.

Sipping on the bourbon, which has that nice burnt flavor to it and it's smooth Woodford Reserve is still my favorite though, but this is still nice. Had to use a lighter to soften the wax they had around the cap, made a real mess after I got the tab big enough to pull on without softening the rest of the wax, made a mess. >:(

The ports are nice too, I've had them before. The late bottle vintage Sandeman is really rich in flavor, probably the second best port I've had next to a LBV quintasomething Portal.

It's been a while since I've had the Graham's Six Grapes so I can't really describe it that well, but none of the port are tawny. Tawny port is second rate sewage IMO.

Who the hell defecates on a sidewalk though? The bar's toilet is too icky but you don't mind having no toilet paper and shit stains? I'd just put a manikin that looks like he's leaning against the door or something.

In other news, I'd say I'll never drink rum again, but I'll be damned if I let 3/4 of my lambs spiced rum go to waste. For some reason rum does a serious number on me, I didn't even get close to drunk, I could probably drink three times the whiskey and not feel a thing, but give me a little bit of rum and my joints feel like someone put sand in between. Stuffs really good, reminds me of a hot cinnamon roll, can't wait till we start getting egg nog. Captain Morgans seems like crap now, no wonder people who try other stuff bash it.

While very good, a simple double vodka mixed with almost any soft drink/red bull will do me quite nicely. It's often much cheaper than dropping Jaeger bombs too.

Normally mixed with red bull. The way I was taught to drink it (in Berlin by Germans), was to have a small glass of red bull at the ready, drop the jaeger in the glass, before it can mix with the red bull, down it in one. The bomb is that you get the full taste of the jaeger right at the end, or so I'm told. They're pretty fun actually.
