Just got back from 'neonfest' at one of the big clubs in town for my friend birthday...... absolutely knackered n shit.................... didnt drink TOO much considering, but had eaten virtually nothing all day.

I always try to eat before drinking. I've never gotten a hangover if I do that. Makes my drunk a lot more enjoyable. But in all seriousness, if you need to get rid of a hangover, smoke pot. Not a lot where your stoned, but just burn a little to get you feeling good, works like a charm.

I just neck a pint of water before I go to bed.

Sorts out any hangover.

I'm usually OK with hangovers, but like BBM pointed out, drinking water is a good idea after a heavy night. I usually try to drink a glass of water between every 3 or 4 rounds, and then I drink as much as I can at the end of the night before I roll into bed.

I'm gonna have to give that a shot this weekend. I'm probably going into this town Hoboken for the St. Patty's Day parade and all the yuppies walk around shitty so I might do the same, lol.

I usually do this and as an added bonus I have to half liter (plastic) cups for more water during the night.

Drinking water is a good idea. Problem with drinking between beer, is that it probably costs money. Problem with drinking after is that sometimes you can't drink enough water, and you'll still have a hangover :o

I don't get hangovers.
And I don't drink water or anything like that. I just go to bed and wake up fine. I feel a little sensitive the next day but I enjoy that because it makes me carefree and I can just fit about watching DVDs and be happy and comfortable :).

I can drink far more than I should... which is like, a drink or two from either passing out or throwing up violently.

Pft... I drank an excessive amount of alcohol the last time I got drunk (half a bottle of wine) and I went to bed and woke up with not even a head ache! No hang over or anything what so ever.

Instead let's boast with "people from our town"'s achievements. In my village, the owner of the pub I usually go to once drank 60 "Hoegaarden" in 4 hours. A Hoegaarden is 33cl, but can be compared to a normal pilsner/pint/whatever you call it because of its slightly lower alcohol volume. He's a monster...

Sadly I don't follow the trend of the Metalheads who think they're Vikings and generally detest that style of Metal :P. I'm more into the Avant-Garde and miserable types.

Well, I turn 19 (legal drinking age in Ontario) on the 14th man. On that day, I am sure we will see if I get a hang over or not :P I plan to drink, drink some more, and than drink a little more :P

Just a word from the un-wise. You can't plan a hangover, sometimes they're nothing even if you've been drinking the whole night long, and the next time you're in bed for several days even if you only drank two beers. But take my advice, enjoy it while it last, it ain't getting any easier with age!

Really? I'm pretty sure that in the UK it's a legal requirement for bars to provide free tap water, and certainly if it's not, they still do around here.

Tomorrow is my schools Unofficial St. Patricks Day. It is a tradition that demands that you start drinking as soon as you get up in the morning (preferably around 8) and continue to drink all throughout the day. If you have class, you go to class drunk, but if you're like every normal person, you skip class that day anyways. Unluckily for me, I have a test at 2 in the afternoon meaning I can't join in with my friends until later on in the day. I'll also have to dodge the drunken masses to get to class meaning I'll be taking back alleys and such to get there safely. Seriously , you don't want to be seen with a book bag on Unofficial lest you're aiming to get chased by "The Horde"

The only way I can describe this day is imagine a town full of zombies, but instead of looking for brains they're wandering down the street moaning BEEEEEEEEEEEER! BEEEEEEEEEEER!

I do believe you're correct there. I've never paid for water in a bar or restaurant, it's always free.

Nope, here water is charged, everywhere. Bars, pubs, parties, gigs... And it costs as much as beer. But if you go in the right places, you won't pay too much for your beer either ;)

Well I just got a new one from last night.

Me and a few friends go to this girls house I know (well this girls friend and sisters house,) I had never met her friends before. So we are drinking some Screw drivers and taking shots every now and then, all is good. People are getting loosened up.

After that me, a friend, and the girl who lives in the house roll a yummy blunt and smoke it, and I pretty much had to be told today what all happened after that. I started making out with the girl who lives there, which I do recall, but apparently she took my pants off, and I don't remember that. But my friend ran in the room and took pictures of it. So once that happened we just got up and decided to join everybody again, and I just go out and start kissing my friend on the neck (the girl I knew, that had me come over, who is totally fucking hot by the way.) She was sort of into it, but she got me to stop, because I had just made out with her friend, so I think that kind of put her off.

Then after that I tried hitting on the girls sister, but I failed miserably, and she ended up punching me in the balls. Lesson learned, don't make out with a girl and then try it with her sister right after.

All in all it was OK, even though I made an ass out of myself, but then again if you are partying and you don't make an ass out of yourself, then you probably aren't doing something right, right?
