Well, I just kind of wanted to get some feedback on my drawings. Unfortunately, my best ones are packed away at the moment (moving house), but I like this one.
I did it in some spare time after Cooking class. =D
P.S. It isn't really meant to be in proportion, it was intended to look a little inhuman.

Here's some more stuff I did a little while ago. I was basically messing around with shading and stuff, but doing nice camo is very, VERY annoying.
- By the way, I hate colouring.

Here's another sketch I did just then. I'm starting to move onto more realistic stuff, because I made the fatal mistake of cartooning first. This one was fairly quick, so I may or may not clean it up or do another version. His eyes are a bit asymmetrical, but overall I'm happy with it.

That one's my favourite too, it came out really well. When I've moved house, I'll have to post some of my other stuff. Generally, though, it seems that realistic faces don't like me. Anime is fine, but I think I need a 3D source for realistic stuff.

Now here's a hastily drawn knight-guy.
What is wrong with his pose? I know there's SOMETHING wrong but I can't pick it, it's like it's a bit distorted or something.
So, Art forum, WHAT IS WRONG with his anatomy?

His feet, especially his right foot, are a little distorted. And the shading of said feet needs more attention; from my point of view it sort of looks like he's dragging his right leg across the ground.

The problem is that one leg is longer than the other for no reason. If one leg extends out, the other needs to be bent at the knee. Also, less rule-oriented but more aesthetically, he looks completely at rest while holding his shield up in front of him...if he's making the effort to brace his shield, why is he so relaxed? OR, why is he holding his shield up?

Yes, I see. Hopefully when I plug in my Graphics Tablet, I'll be able to fix it up. I'm okay with a mouse, but poses are annoying as hell with them. But thanks for telling me, I just couldn't figure it out for some reason.

np, you'll find that designing a proper and balanced pose will amount for much more in your finished work. A crap character on a beautiful pose at an ambitious angle can really set you apart as an artist, if that's your goal ;)

After a lengthy abscence, I've decided to post s'more of my recent art.
This one was done with a tablet on OpenCanvas.
Evidently my style has changed a little.... Please note that it is NOT meant to be realistic.

Exactly that, I think if you bend his left (for the viewer right) leg out a bit, you fixed the length issue, and looks a bit less relaxed.

1. I wish there was an edit post function.
2. These new faces make my old one look... less than adequate

Let's all brace ourselves for a whole bunch of Swanwig's sketches.
"He refers to himself in the third person, he must be good!"
Some of these will be better than others and some will be annoying to look at since my pencil is far too light.
We'll start off with some random eye, which I forgot to put eyelashes on. Also my scanner makes this way bigger than in reality, will have to re-size my other pics.

IRL this takes up an A4 page.
If thee would so kindly oblige, please ignore yon poorly-drawn hands in upper right and lower left and send them hence with great haste from thine mind. I thank ye for thine co-operation.
I would also like to take this opportunity to note that I deeply abhor the .gif image format.

This is a robot-ey type thing, eh.
It doesn't do anything in particular, but there's shading in some parts of this drawing that I quite like, really.
And I do, in fact, have more sketches - but I've got so many of them sitting around that I'll try to keep the more common ones out of this thread. I seriously have like 100 of those pencilled faces lying around.

Meh. It doesn't really look much like a robot. The head just looks like a blank cylinder, and i don't know what is sticking out of its chest. Besides that, all of your other art is awesome.
