New information is that ive been able to link everyones drawing with their username.. there was a few mysterious ones that i was worried would be a litter of unnamed souls. All of em are accounted for now.

Its still somewhat of a slow process. So i'll be working on it through thanksgiving. GREAT.

I've also been in conversations with UnderARock to design a shirt, i thought itd be kind of neat to have someone new add their touch of illustration to it. I think I may add the new illustration but essentially keep it relatively similar in design as last years. I think having everyones names in the back is a cool brag factor and last years design was so strong that i think it degrades the brand to NOT stay in tune with the spirit of it. So yeah, i fully expect there to be moans and gripes but in the end i think it makes the most sense. itll be a new color combo atleast

He's told me about such things. This shirt's going to look incredible I'm sure! Hopefully I'll have the cash to purchase a sketchbook AND a shirt by the time they come out.

Ok so do any of these color schemes attract your attention. I kind of like the top left one. Its a simple execution on a dirty color. I think the one on the right of that would be ok but i think tour and 2008 get lost. Plus i already did that color last year. Green is ugly... and the brown one you lose the black splatter and the word tour. Using the yellow feels like it 'pops' too much.

Im not doing a book this year, Zekey was doing a book of his own and he had a bad experience with the printer i was going to go with and it seems too risky so I'll just persue that next year with more time to plan that. I think i wasted too much time deciding on shirt or book. I like the printer who did the shirts from last year.. it feels like a safer bet.

I like the way "SKETCHBOOK" pops on the brown one, but it makes "TOUR" all the harder to read. This one here seems to be the most balanced.

My favorite is the brown one. I like the yellow of the text. You do sorta loose the 'tour' on it but I don't think that should really hinder it. People know the name already, it's in their mind, reading Sketchbook, there brain would flicker in and complete the phrase.

I prefer the brown one, but is it not possible to make the word 'tour' white?
Otherwise I'd go for the top left one.

That looks good, but I'm curious where the rest of the NG color scheme went. Maybe some orange???

The tan would looks good with yellow text.

Lol I was liking the brown one too and was wondering why you were leaning towards the simpler versions. Just do what you think is best, dollars are hard to come by these days...even though I would so want a browns shirt.

I'll go ahead and just fidget with the browns.

In other news i was poking around the web and i found a 90 artist compilation book. It would be cool to one day turn the sketchbook tour into a product like that.

maybe next year it stops trying to fit everyone in and becomes more interested in showing newgrounds shinning stars or rising stars etc...

It was always my intention to show the community rather than just the highlights of it.. but maybe its more inspiring to make a product that is more about showing the immense talent that ng has in its community... that might be something worth lookin into once the art portal comes around.

Ok back again with more variations... these are all brown ones.. i am limited to a 4 color print job so dont ask or request for anything beyond that. ok heres some variations.

2 more. also the yellow isnt as washed out as it looks on screen.. for some reason newgrounds optimizer thing is making it a paler yellow.. it is more like the yellow on the ng burst shirt

Top right. The "TOUR" pops really nicely now. This is my favorite of all the designs.

bottom left is my fav in the 2nd post.

I agree, bottom left on the first post being my second choice. I like the way the colours are, i'm sure you could explain it better, but in my opinion it works best.

I say the left one, in your 2nd post, the orange coloring on 2008 gives it a nice feel.

Aren't there any screenprinters on this forum or art collab? Next year I'll probably be volunteering at an art studio in pittsburgh (AIR) and might have the resources to make some nice ass shirts for cheap. But if someone else has the resources to do something like that, they should raise their hand!
