So I was carrying my NGSBT paper in my shoulder bag and needed my deodorant (also in there), when I suddenly realize that my shampoo (also in there) and something else that looks really disgusting have spilled all over my fucking bag. BULL SHIT. luckily though, due to a folder of my own and that little thing luis put our paper in inside the envelope, the paper is still in near pristine condition. THANKS LU! THANKS GOD!

Yeah, for a second I was reading and I thought it said July 24th, because that was the deadline he had set before, with the input part, but then I saw the August 24th, which made me happy again! Phew.

Update:

My cellphone charger was not quite as lucky as my paper...now I have to see if my squater neighboors have a tracfone charger I can borrow.

Today my mailman (who, coincidentally, looks a lot like Wade) picked up my little yellow envelope. IT HAS BUBBLE WRAP N SHIT on the inside, so it ought to hold up well. I'm so excited to be part of this :D

Just mucking around with the materials I'm gunna use, don't worry, this is nothing like what I have in mind. Any thoughts on the style? I'm quite enjoying it.

Top: Watercolours, except for the black which is gouache paint.
Bottom (Buddha): Black fineliner, 2B pencil and white watercolour paint.

I wanted to do watercolors too, but I thought it would be against the rules since it would probably warp the paper like crazy. If you get it to work let me know.

My page, according to the spreadsheet, was sent on 7/09/08. It is 7/26/08, and I havent recieved it yet. That's 17 days. Should I be worried? I live in the continental US.

Bummer... though sometimes, our mail delivery man is more of a sloth than a turtle. So maybe there's still hope!
