She's Mai. One of Emperor Pilaf's minions. You'll find out about her when you get into it. Funny enough, she's serving Piccolo instead. Changing the story. If only Toriyama knew of this bastardization, I think he'd literally go Super Saiyan out of anger from seeing this horrible attempt at his work.

My understanding is that this movie was canceled within the last couple weeks. What makes me even more suspicious is that IMDB says it's status is in "Post-Production", which usually doesn't happen till around 3 or 4 months before the movie is to be released. Dragonball is set to release in April 09'...so either IMDB is right and Dragonball has been canceled, or I am wrong and it will continue to be released as scheduled.

That's because the movie isn't based off Dragonball Z. It's based off the series' prequel, Dragonball.
