Let me correct myself, there are a couple of good titles out for the Wii (Brawl, Galaxies, Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 3,) but the rest of the stuff you find is just terrible. No More Heroes is an exception, but most of the third party titles just suck.

The 360 Conference was massive, they had so many new announcements that I guess I just thought Nintendo would do the same, sadly I was mistaken only 6 new Wii games (only 2 look good) 3 new DS games (only 2 look good) and a new motion plus that I already knew about, wow thanks Nintendo, and the rest was bar graphs of things everyone already knew about.

Rofl, I just read from the little scrolling news thing on the bottom of the screen that FFXIII isn't coming out for 360 in Japan... What!? I don't see how that's a smart idea. Granted, the 360 isn't popular in Japan, I'm sure there are those few people who do own one and not a PS3. To give FFXIII to everyone else on the 360 and not to people in Japan is pretty much telling everyone in Japan to go buy a PS3 if they haven't yet.

(sniff) why nintendo? no pikmin? no kid icarus? not even a crappy screen shot of zelda?!? give us more than a gta that will have no blood or a call of duty that was skimmed over for talking about some freakin lady who no one cares abouts freakin wrist and how much she sucks at snowboarding. we can figure out she sucks at pretty much everything.

but on the positive side, voice chat that actually seems pretty good, and wii motion plus looked cool just because swordfighting looked fun. for anyone who thinks it isnt that responsive, compare it to wii boxing. wii boxing was the worst game on wii sports. why? because it was unresponsive and it you couldnt hit every time. the sword dueling looks like every move you make will be registered. that makes for an exciting prospect fo a new good zelda game that wasnt rushed fo wii and no waggleing excpet for rolling on the ground cuz the fat people cant roll.

*falls over from exhaustion*

I'm pretty sure the only third-party Wii games I'm excited for are Fatal Frame Wii (Nintendo isn't going to give it any marketing plan, like all of their mature game) and Madworld. Actually, those are really the only Wii games I actually want to play... This is so sad.

Zack and Wiki is a good game. MySims was alright but lost its novelty quick.

Let's hope Red Steel 2 (if and when it comes out) is better then Red Steel 1. And lets hope that it won't be repetative like the first one.

Did anyone see those knock-off Mii things for the 360? I have mixed feelings on it. I really don't want to see the Xbox become a full on casual console. Then we would be clogged up with shitty family friendly titles, and everyone in Xbox ads would be happy! Oh dear God please no!

nintendo better start appealing to the core addiance it has worked so hard to get and give them what they want. hopefully the new zelda game and mario game (which they announced but skimmed over for airport apps) will be freaking awesome and hard.

DirtySyko, the reason that FFXIII isn't coming to 360's in Japan is because of the way they're managing FFXIII's production. First they'll finish making it on the PC and PS3. Then they'll release it in Japan. At that point, they'll start localizing the PS3 version and start porting the 360 version. This allows them to release the game early in Japan without having to spend resources on the 360 until it's already out in Japan. By the time the 360 version is ready, it'll be too late since the PS3 version will have been released in Japan for quite a number of months. Then they release localized version simultaneously and get the largest chunk of the western markets possible.

Really, I don't think Microsoft is the mastermind behind this. It sounds like Square Enix is really behind it all, since they are the one benefiting in all areas.

Microsoft tries to appeal to the mass market. If anything it was more for hardcore gamers than casual gamers to begin with, and now they are trying to balance that out. To worry that they are trying to work their way into becoming a "full on casual console" is just crazy.

Why would anyone select a ps3 or a wii over a 360?

Yeah, I said that badly. I'm not knocking Windwaker, since I liked it, but I could see them going really overboard with making Zelda casual. They gave it a casual look once, so I could see them making the combat and the rest of the game casual as well.

No it's not. It's just a matter of tastes. Some people want to play online but not pay for it. Some people are interested in Blu-ray. Some people don't care about games like Gears of War or Halo and are more interested in titles like MGS4 and Ratchet and Clank.

Ninty's E3 was dissapointing though. Any new features Animal Crossing? Where was the Pikmin love? And Wii music did not look fun at all.

I have to agree with you here. Why did nintendo even mention 3rd party developers when there have only been two good 3rd party games. Most of those 3rd party companies have no clue how to use the Wii. I expect them to get better eventually, but not anytime soon.

I'm diassapointed with the DS just as much, look at Prime Hunters for the DS. That game had the biggest fan base of almost any DS game out there. I'm disappointed they won't continue that with Dread.

if nintendo continues making these mini games (Wii Sports, etc.) It will likely lose it's core gamers, and will reach its downfall because the non-core gamers won't want to buy another console in the future.

For anyone watching on G4, is anyone really tired of seeing the Shudder commercials? I've seen that damn girl's head go back way too many times.

Also, what's everyone's favorite game so far? I'd have to go with Fallout 3. The game looks like a solid experience.
