It's shroom season.

So I was talking to my friend's dad who told us it was perfect time for shroom picking. So me and a couple friends are going to a park near by to pick some for tommorow night.

Anybody else picked their own shrooms (preferably in England)? What should I look out for/avoid, ect?

I wouldn't recommend picking them yourself unless you are with someone who knows a lot about mushrooms. Because most kinds of mushrooms can kill you if you eat them.

the reason hes picking his own to begin with is so he doesnt have to go through a dealer. if it was the kind you cook with he could easily just go to a grocery store

New forest is always good, make sure that you're with someone who knows what they're doing though. Because the bad ones look incredibly similar to some of the good ones.

After you get the shrooms post pictures of them on shroomery.org. They have a whole forum dedicated to identifying mushrooms. I've done it before and the people really know their stuff. Good luck on your trip!
