I believe strongly in the death penalty. I'm against it having to be so humane. If they do something so

hideously wrong that the court decides that they need to die, why waste money making sure they're

comfortable? A snap of the neck, a 40. caliber bullet to the head, a slit carotid artery, ect... Why do we have

to waste taxpayers money giving them a clean bed, a nice nurse, anesthesia, and a nice, painless, and calm,

lethal injection. Some criminals that have been given the sentence have even said that they prefer it to life

in prison. What say you on this issue, Newgrounds?

Sorry. Because the only way to get it (here anyway) is if you kill multiple people in an exceptionally brutal way, and show complete lack of remorse for it. If that describes someone, they deserve to die. A human like that doesn't belong on the same planet as us.

however, for the laws you have I'd say I'm actually kind of with you - I was just hoping to find one of those people that say that capital punishment is good and should be used more, simply so I could rip the shit out of them.

Sorry, but in prison you get free food, cable television and clean facilities. Something that most of the people that commit these crimes didn't have before hand.

Although I think the death penalty seems fair (like mentioned previously: eye for an eye), I don't think it's up to the court to decide one's fate.
There have been so many cases of people wrongly accused and given life sentences to later be proven as innocent. If this were the case for the death penalty, think of how unfortunate that would be. Besides, there's nothing more torturing then life in prison (I imagine).

An eye for an eye policy would work reduce crime I think. If you kill someone, you get killed. If you steal, you pay back an equal amount on top of what you stole.
What you would do for manslaughter, I have no idea, possibly become a civil servant for X amount of years and a fine. I'm not a legal expert so don't ask me about abstract laws.

Under the current system, I think criminals should pay for expenses. They should be given a standard cell, little cot, toilet, cement room. Anything else like cable T.V., books, or a meal other then porridge should come out of their pocket. They should be given the opportunity to make money though, and half of it taxed to pay for the prison expenses.

I can agree with you there but maybe some other cruel methods which stick within the rights may work such as constant solitary confinement with food and water etc.
