Depending on what you want, you can also record from your computer, to that same computer. How?

I know my old laptop had a microphone because of that game "keep talking" on rrrrthats5rs.com But i dont know if you can record sound and play it back and whatnot.

I don't think you can record from your speakers unless you have a microphone right there and record the sound.

There isn't any program to do that I think, I've searched google so much, I didn't find anything. Now, if this is for reasons to maintain music, there are better alternatives.

If its reasons to record voices/clips from youtube, you could download the youtube to mp3 converter. Converts audio from youtube to a .mp3.

Many reasons can be solved without recording it just like that from your speakers.

You're wrong, I wanna record the sound output before it reaches the speakers. It is possible, I can't get it working on Vista.

As I said, the video I got you explained it all, and it shouldn't be a lot different than XP. Just do it.
