What has music come to? I looked on the most bought songs on iTunes today and look what I found. The Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus rule almost half the top ten! In case you didn't know these are just exploited young teenagers with no talent exept being able to lip sync and keep a semi good image.

Do people actually like this music because there can't be that many prepubescent girls spending money on iTunes to dominate the top ten like this?

"I kissed a girl." It's a song glamorizing lesbianism. They played that at prom but they wouldn't play "crazy bitch" What is the music industry coming to?

Yeah, well my crappy prom DJ didn't have a single Daft Punk song. No DJ should be caught dead without some techno gods music by Daft Punk.

He put on "Stronger" instead, I was pissed.

*Groan* seriously, the same fucking threads litter the BBS every day, I swear.

The music scene, overall, is doing okay. Lot's of neat indy bands like Them Terribles and MGMT. Mainstream music is what's in shambles. has been for years. Nothing really to worry about. Just keep supporting your favorite artists: Check out their shows whenever they're in town, buy their albums and maybe some shirts now and then.

It's iTunes. The majority of people that use iTunes would listen to Hannah Montana banging on a trash can for twenty minutes and call it artistic freedom.

Which album do you want me to get into detail with?

I'd say Homework is closer to house music
Discovery is probably electronika/synth
It's hard to say for Human After All, maybe a house/rock mix. It's closer to Homework then Discovery.

Do you love me now?

You think that's bad? Our yearbook has a "favorites" section.... Almost every grade had the goddamn Jonas Brothers as their favorite. What the fuck?

I quite honestly have always taken an interest in music that's pretty much dead to the rest of society, so I've never payed much attention to that crap.
