Making money with flash LOL

I noticed in the submission area for flash it says make money, who actually has done this and how much did you get?

Using NG ads I dont think you can earn thatt much

But games can get sponsered for over 10k

You get $250 if you win monthly, 5 cash prizes are given out..

Well, since it's ads in your game it can range depending on the success of your flash.

Games would generally pay more though since they have more replayability than movies.

I know some games can get up to $50,000 and counting. If your game is a game where you can come back and play multiple times your game will keep recieveing money.

Movies you see once and then you have seen it. You don't have to see it again, unless you want to of course.

As mentioned above you can use ads, or you can get it sponsored. Here is a list of games that has gotten sponsored and how much they got.

Interesting.... can't believe some sponsors pay so much for so little... Some of those games are very easy. I was expecting like a Alien Hominid kind of game to get lots of money.

It's still cool that you can make a good amount of money for creating Flash, especially if you're a bit younger than most.

Yea it is pretty cool. I think I'll try to but a game out this year to get sponsored and see if I can some thing. (I could use some more dollas)

There are cases when games can get over sponsored, but i think generally they get what they deserve. If you spend a solid week working on a game, why shouldnt you get a good few hundred bucks? Its a skill, which isnt particularly easy to learn.

Take a look at this game for example. I think the coder and I made £50 each off that game. You might think thats pretty steep for such a simple game that only took a day to make, but look at its stats.

Thats 500,000 people who have seen the sponsors logo and had a chance to visit his site. If 2% of the people who have played the game click his link, thats 1000 unique visitors to his site, as well as content for his site, for £100. Not bad really!
