sure it sounds super speedy, but ive gotten a few errors w/the server being under extreme load...

maybe its just cuz i get on @ peak hours, or somethin

It's sped up, but not so much that I've noticed it that much. Maybe its because i have cable modem and everything is fast anyway....

..but i do get a lot of "server under extreme load" messages.

You said a while back that while you were waiting for the bandwidth upgrade that you put in an order for two more servers. When can they be put in?

Battle Royale.....hmm....indeed, its a great film. Plenty of schoolkid gore and death. Specially when that crazy haired kid lopped off the other kids head and used it as a grenade holder. Good times!

finally 300mbps i hope that newgrounds is gonna be best site on the internet ever that will kick ass!

Yeah, I saw that flick a few months back. The stupid thing is, I got it when I went on vacation overseas during the summer and then, when I took it back home to Canada, I found out that it doesn't run on the DVD players here for some reason. Sucks. Oh well, that's an awesome flick though. How the hell did you find a copy that runs on DVD players here though? eBay or something?

Oh, and I have noticed that the site's been running a little faster. Just one thing though. When did you plan on moving those servers? And how long will the site be down for that?

i hate to sound so brutal tom, but i noticed not much difference. in fact it ran slower. it took a zillion refreshes to get genyru's blade to load but then again thats probably because a thousand other viewers are trying to watch it as well. thats alright though, i'm sure you are working on it.

ya Tom, the site has been running a tad bit faster, although, the front page is still its loadsome self( i am running a 701kbps connection) must be those third party ads you were talking about, anyway,...

I have Read the book battle royal, but i havent seen the movie, if you have read the book, please let me know which is better, I simply enjoy teenagers killing each other with forks, although that bulletproof vest could come in handy.. anyway, nj with the bandwith ups

Yeah you can find a lot of Region 0 imports off eBay surprisingly cheap. You'll probably never see Battle Royale releaseed stateside, as for BR2, i'm looking forward to that one. Neways, Versus was waaaay better in my opinion, that director is coming out with a new one I think called Alive or something.

I'm crazy about Hong Kong imports and I bet Quentin Tarantino is too! Check out sum of these movies if you liked those.. Shaolin Soccer, Hero (starring Jet Li, Donnie Yen, Zhang ZiYi 100 times better than Crouching Tiger), Lengend of Zu.

Watched Battle Royale 20 odd times. I live in UK and every good dvd store sells it. Dont know why you guys are having trouble finding copies in the US

It runs quite good now, not really slow and also not really fast.

k tom, i take back ANYTHING i said about the site being slow yesterday. things are running VERY fast now. whatever happened in those last 12 hours worked i guess.
