karma hasnt necessarily failed. what happens to a lot of lotto winners is that they get so into buying shit with their newfound money that they keep spending without keeping track of how much is left and they not only end up blowing it on stupid shit shortly after they get it, but they also tend to spend more than they got from the lottery. in otherwords they go broke.

I don't see what the fuss is about to be honest, he got lucky, not affected by the fact that he was a sex offender.
Of course he doesn't deserve the money, absolutely not, but he just got lucky so why make a fuss over it. Well within the rules of the lotto.
