Need collab approval

Ok here's the deal, about 1.5 years ago, a fella called MeMB started an art collab known as the Train Collab (please don't bump the thread, you'll almost certainly get banned). Anyway, me and a bunch of other artist including DrClay, Jin, imacow, sunglasses, put a great deal of effort into it. Then MeMB told everyone to stop handing in parts and said he was going to put everything together. Then he basically vanished for ages and I sent him a few PM's some of which I told him if he didn't reply I would take over the collab, he didn't reply to them.

My proposal is to take over the collab as the new collab leader, put everything together myself and then submit it with everyone co-athored who was in it. Do you guys think this is a fair decision?

Fair enough, if you want to get pedantic: you still must follow NG rules for posting in the forum.

Sounds like you've taken all of the necessary step to contact and include the original creator, and a year and a half is a long time! ...I think you should just go for it!

I was gonna do the same thing with the ocean collab but after looking at the art submitted, decided it wasn't worth the effort. lol

fyi: the art forum rules state that you need to start a new thread with some original art ;)

The decsion is between you and the users involved, don't really pertain to the general public, you need to work this out with the rest of the team.

That being said, you did the right thing,

now go do it, and stop wasting our posts here.
