My brother uses Opera and says that Firefox users are just stupid fanboys and that Opera has a way better interface. He Googled Firefox fanboys and we ended up here: http://nanobox.chipx86.com/FirefoxFables / I thought you guys should see this, it's pretty funny how they laugh with IE and Opera.

People how base their opinion on others considering the others as "software / product fanboys" have too much time on their hands! Go and do something worth while take your mind off what other people are doing etc. My opinion!

Your point being? Everyone has their own opinion, and my opinion is Opera isn't all that good as it's claimed to be. And Safari is ugly and slow.

I always had a gripe with Opera when it refused to execute my JS code that worked fine in EVERY other browser.
Safari for me is too slow and screws up a number of basic things. IE is... well IE.
Firefox gets the nod.

IE sucks at almost everything besides failure. It can't render pages properly, and it crashes quite often, not to mention it's easily hacked. Opera is okay, but I don't really like the interface. I use it at school, though, because they block Firefox from accessing the internet. Safari is okay, but it doesn't have too many add-ons. I prefer Firefox because of its extensibility, and because it has a web-developer plugin.

I really like Opera because of the interface. I can put small bookmark icons beside my adress-bar without having another line very easily (e.g. I have the tank_sm.gif icon linking to NGBBS Flash there) and I especially like how easy it is to access your mail and see updated feeds.

It's all about personal preference really, though.

I just like it because it's a fast, extensible and free browser. It gets the job done in most every situation, and I prefer that over something which is slow, and can mess a web-developers work up. Besides, firefox is way faster than any commercial browsers I've ever had. And, should you desire a daily news feed or some other random thing, firefox has add-ons for it. An awesome part of it are the themes and making your own theme, should you want to do so. That's just my opinion though.

If you didn't get what I meant both shots are 176 by 599 but you can tell obvious differences in how much browser screen space they take up.

I wasn't even talking about toolbars I was talking about liking the customization on Firefox over others.

You can customize Opera just as well as Firefox, thank you very much.

Guess that makes us Opera fan-boys then ^_^ ??? Seriously though arguing over preference is pointless. People like things for different reasons.
