Earth Worm Jim
According to this, Earth Worm Jim is coming back to consols, as well as getting its own movie.
"Holy crap!" preety sums up my sentiment on this, Earth Worm Jim was awsome, but a movie, realy?
It will probobly go into developmental hell like Metroid the movie and the Halo movie.

As long as Jim is still being voiced by Dan Castellaneta, I'll see the movie.

If they keep the movie stupid, pointless, and random like the video game it'll be fucking awesome. But if they try to make it serious, dark, and action packed... it'll suck shit. Knowing hollywood, it'll suck shit and I hope they never make it.
However, I would like the Cartoons on DVD... are they out yet?

oh shit yes, i dunno why, but i'd liek to see it in the same vein as mystery science theatre.
Whenever i thought of that show, I'd always think of earthworm jim, maybe the same kind of humour, but the cartoon was good, and the games were fucking golden, one and two are hands down the greatest ever. 3D was so so but i still enjoyed it.

tsk tsk, that show was pretty awesome. My brother and I would often sing, "EARTH WORM JIIIIIM, HE'S REALLY REALLY COOL" etc. Ah, memories. I heard the news about the game a little while ago, bu a movie? Totally awesome. Lookin' forward to seeing the worm on the big screen :D

Serprizing that Earth Worm Jim is coming back on consols... Not surprizing on the movie. Its probubly going to be a straight to DVD cartoon. They always do this. If something big is coming or coming back this is a whole bunch of spin offs.

I dont want to be negative but ... ehem... I dont think this movie will be go... another game would be awesome, buuuuuut the movie really dont sound that attractive... I hope they at least put more matture sense of humor since all earthworm jim fans are already old.

As long as they don't bugger it up like most returning game series do, then I'm happy. The original Earthworm Jim games were great, but I can't see them keeping the same integrity they had in the older eras of gaming.

A brilliant cartoon and a brilliant game. I looked in IMDB though and it doesn't say anything about a movie :/
