Okay, this is going to sound REALLY stupid, but... Metal Gear Solid is a computer game. And it's all 3D. How would you do that with a tablet?

Maybe Zac-Donald should stop being such a Wacom Cintiq fanboy. I understand that they're amazing and out of our reach, but is it really necessary to brag about it all the time. Besides, an Intuos 3 is just as good. It's not the tools that make the artist, it's the artist's skill. I've seen some amazing artists use basic tablets like the Wacom Bamboo to create incredible stuff. To the OP: Good job for a first tablet drawing. If you're just beginning, I can't imagine what kind of stuff you'll be cranking out when you get the hang of the Intuos.

He said art designer...read a lil...3D has to have an idea backing it doesn't it? And I agree, dude needs to take his nose out of cintiq's ass for like a second so he can realize that tablets aren't that bad, in fact they are very good, and there is nothing wrong with them, cintiq is not that much better of a tablet.

God, now I wish I had asked for one of those for Christmas instead of a Wacom Bamboo.

A bamboo is fine. A bamboo is just an updated Wacom graphire tablet.
This guy has graphire at his animation studio.

He also does the animations for a Star Wars website using a graphire.
