As you may know, we've been working hard on our official NG store for quite some time...
I'm happy to say that after a few false starts we are well on our way to launching this beast. We've had the look and feel envisioned since September, but the administration end of things was the largest hurdle for us and Rob is knocking it out of the ballpark.
One of the features of our new store will be its integration with your user accounts. Once it launches, everyone will have the option to display their purchases on their user page. It's completely optional, but Jeff whipped up some pretty stylish badges for every item in the store for those of you who enjoy bragging (*cough* stat whores *cough*) about how much NG gear you've racked up. The reason I'm mentioning this now is because we want to give the display option to those who have already purchased something from our current PayPal store.
If you're interested in having your previous PayPal purchases credited to your NG account and the items displayed on your user page, you have the option of digging up your PayPal email receipt and emailing the following information -- and ONLY the following information -- to store@newgrounds.com:
1. The NAME on your receipt.
2. The TRANSACTION ID on your receipt.
3. Your USERNAME, so we know which account to credit.
(If you leave out any necessary information, we'll simply ignore the email and you won't get credit, so for your own good PLEASE make sure you get it right.)
Similarly, if you'd like any T-shirts that you've won in a monthly contest or art contest in the past year to be credited as well, simply email the same address with your USERNAME and the MONTH/YEAR you earned the prize.
And what kind of store post would this be without additions to our current store? Some of our artists and fans will be happy to hear that we now have a limited supply of 3XL shirts for many of our designs and in some cases even larger -- all the way up to 6XL. Also, the Metal Gear Awesome shirt is back in stock for all sizes, so if you've been waiting for that then now's your chance.
