My Flash says it has low memory.

Ok, so I was just working on my sprite flash and I had 2 Flash files open, one for the main movie and one for all the sprite sheets and movieclips, but when I tried to get some sprites that had it's bitmap already traced, a window came up saying Flash ran out of memory. What do I do, save and compress my flashes everytime I finished working on them, or is that only for when you complete the flash all together?Anyway, If someone knows what I need to do, I'll greatly appreciate your help.

how much do you have? 256 mb? 512?

dude sumthin retarded like dat happened to me bout a hour ago but I pressed ctrl, alt, and enter and it poped up something saying flash dont got enough memory any more or sumthin dumb like dat and I save my flash and restarted my computer and everything started working fine again

512 is a bit low. if you're not on a laptop, you should consider investing in one or two gigs of RAM. it makes your computer run a lot better.

Alright, restarting my computer didn't help, and I guess I do have low RAM, but is there anything else I can do to fix it?

yes. end some background processes - i'm just assuming you're running windows - hit control + alt + delete and go to your processes tab. sort it under username and end whatever processes aren't really needed at the moment. just don't end anything that isn't under your name :P
