i would say resident evil,because in this day and age,the story sounds probable.you never know,some dumb scientest guy might be making a t-virus right now.silent hill on the other hand,never scared me.the whole game is kind of a mindfuck.

I would personally say Resident Evil because Resident Evil games are better for kicking ass especially RE4, that game is the best of the RE games

AshfordPride has been my favorite Video Game Forum member because he is the only one I can find who agrees that RE4 took away all the "classic" things of Resident Evil.

Resident Evil.

Silent hill has its visual frights, it is too slow, and you have to walk around for like a million years to get anywhere.

Resident Evil gives a sense of panic, due to your lack of weapons, and ammunition. Though, it may not be as visually unsettling as Silent hill, it definitely gets your blood pumping.

Hes right and I agree as well, but they needed to move in a new direction, and its unfortunate the more classic monsters haven't made a cameo yet, but if they didn't take the new direction now they wouldnt have ever taken it.

Hopefully we'll see the head slashing hunters, flesh eating zombies and bladed fingered Tyrants in the n on too distant future.

well i would say resident evil because it was the first horror game ever that did the name of gaming any good. however in the fear factor silent hill is fucked up....the sufferings pretty bad too "blood is the best lubracant" 0_o
