I probably should have told you guys what the artifact does.
It has 3 powers, each gained at a certain point in the game. Each power stakcs so once you have one it is used with the others.
Power #1: Hell Time: This power slows down time to a crawl for 10 seconds while giving you a slight speed boost. You can literally run around monsters with no worry of being hit.
Power #2: Berserk: This power makes your fists weapons of mass destruction. Anything you punch will die in 1 hit. See that hell knight stomping down the corridor? No problem. 1 Punch will send that baddie flying across the hall and slamming it into the wall, crumpling to the floor before dissolving away.
Power #3: Invulnerability: As if this power is even needed. This is the "Fuck you" power because all it really does is insult the demons. You already have hell time and berserk, what could possibly hurt you now? No matter. You can now dive into a pool of lava without fear of melting away.
Once you get all 3 powers you can power up for 10 seconds. You are now a time warping, invulnerable killing machine. Nothing can touch you and those who YOU touch will die. No matter what.
