The new Guitar sounds kind of cool, although I was kind of hoping to save money by using my GHIII Guitar, but I suppose I could stretch for $180.00 for the full set - the amount of replayibility GHIII supplied will surely be tripled in GH4. It'll be worth it.
Anyway, of the new artists 'confirmed' what songs would you like to see in the game? I'd kind of like to see Freak On A Leash (Korn), Break On Through or Peace Frog (The Doors), Assassin (Muse) and B.Y.O.B (SOAD). Also, of the bands announced awhile ago Hot For Teacher (Van Halen), Hotel California (The Eagles) and Pull Me Under (Dream Theater).

They've already stated that World Tour will work with all previous Guitar Hero controllers. I'm very interested in taking advantage of the new song creator so I'll probably take the plunge and pick up the whole bundle.

The new Guitar is optional. The standard Guitar Hero controller works with GH4.

It gives a overview of the new Guitar, microphone and drum kit as well as character creation mode and a few other things.
Also, the following songs have been confirmed:
# Sublime - "Santeria"
# Billy Idol - "Rebel Yell"
# Foo Fighters - "Everlong"
Not particularly favourites, but I don't have a problem with them. In fact, Rebel Yell shouldn't be too bad at all.
