How many audio based programs does Adobe have? I'm looking at their website and they give horrible product descriptions that are extremely vague and I can't decipher them.

Don't waste your money on adobe products anyway. You are much better off investing is a program like FLstudios, or Reason.

LOLWUT

FL Studio, Reason = DAWs

Adobe Products (Audition atleast) = SEs

You're comparing apples and oranges.

What's DAW and SE?
I'm trying to figure out what the difference between them are. I want to get a program but Adobe is very vague about what they do...."Cutting edge audio program of extreme excellence...blah blah blah Adobe...Thanks... =/ "

DAW = Digital Audio Workstation

SE = Sound Editor

in a DAW, you make the actual music in a sequencer or whatever.

in a SE, you can edit the sounds by giving putting them through FX, EQing the files, adjusting the volumes, removing noises and clicks, in general just mixing the tracks down to make the sound more clear. DAWs have sound editing options as well, but SE's are generally more in depth. It's been a long ass while since I've made music, so maybe someone can give a better description but that's what they are in a nutshell.

What are you trying to do exactly? If you explained your intentions, someone can recommend you a program.
