How to tell e-men from e-women.

People.

Ever had someone claiming to be a woman or a man on the internet, but you were never sure?

Ask them their stance on abortion.

I've tried this on 50 different people and have been right 48 times.

Basically:
Abusive reply or emotionally based reply = girl

Anything else = G.I.R.L (Guy In Real Life)

Elaborated:
Men give either a logical or 'sensitive' response.

But you can tell when a woman gives her opinion, cos only women are faced with the reality that it might be a decision they'll have to make in life.

Men are not.

Therefore, the responses are subtley different.

And in my experiment, all 27 people who gave the abusive (fuck off, screw you, go to hell etc etc) response to the question were women.

Discuss my findings and theories.

I've noticed subtle differences in women/men responses too.
Generally women's responses can be left for interpretation.

I've also been successful in picking out which usernames belong to chicks, without any major hints like gal, chick, girl.

How do you know they were really men/girls? They could still lie you know.

Also, I don't really want to ask them that. They'll not want to talk to you if you piss them off.

However one time I was talking to my friend and she asked me MY view on abortion. I said it was kind of like murder but I'm not one to judge because I'm not a chick. She said it's just plain murder and everyone who does it sucks.
