Can't uninstall game

NOTE: DON'T SAY VIDEO GAME FORUM, THIS IS MORE OF A TECH QUESTION

Alright, so I downloaded Civilization 4 (The RETAIL disk got damaged, so I had to download, which is perfectly legal) and as I am downloading the actual game, I am at CD2 when a sudden power failure happens and the power automatically restores. Now I go to reinstall it but I don't have the install option, I just have "Play" "Readme" and "Exit". I click play, of course it doesn't work.

So I uninstall the torrent and reinstall it, same thing happens. I delete every piece of file, and download a different torrent. Then of course, same thing.

Anyone know how to fix this? This is really pissing me off.

as for your question, you said that when you try a different version/torrent of the game it still messes up? you might want to be sure its not going to be doing this for ALL new programs. try installing some other program. (not a game) if the same thing occurs than you have an even bigger problem. I can't think of why it would be doing this.

I would check with the torrent uploader if the download is working as it sounds like it isn't, If you can't get hold of them try downloading it from A different source.
