Acrylic Paint
Time Taken: 12 hours
(PS: the quality lvl went down because of the camera, there is also some blur)
Looks pretty sweet. One thing, wheel on the cart looks a little flat compared to the wagon :P
But now i'm being really picky. looks good
Looks very good, but your point of view is messed up. Try turning the cart a little.
Make me a sandwich, damnit.

flat? huh i dont see it. did i not put enough light in it?
You know, thats sweet. Nice, idyllic. I cant find anything to really complain about.
Sure, we all share one thing. We will all die sooner or later. Thank god.

Nice, I like it. The colours match well.
I think I'm just being perfectionist here, but there are some little faults. The windows on the house are irregular (you should have aligned them with a ruler). Also, the wagon thing on the bottom left. The wheels are a little off, it appears to be at a different angle from the cart.
But what the heck, it's a great painting. And no one is likely to change their paintings once they've completed it. Keep it up.

Wow, 12 hours?..how do people persist O-o, even thought it is a school project, iv only worked on one thing for only about 2 hours, school or not :P..

The lighting is fine. It's just the wheel is at a different angle to the wagon. The wheel is facing flat (towards us) however, the wagn is facing 'into' the picture.

maybe the wheel is broken?

Actually, looking at it, it does appear that the wagon is on the floor. In that case, I apologise for my critisicm and you should thank mr.chamber for having eagle eyes :P

Point of view? And HOW is supposed to change it? A real point of view is NOT messed up.
Anyways, I LOVE it.
The shading is utterly perfect. Also, I love the scene in general.
hehehehehe. Mr. Chamber.
Anyway, I love the painting, the colours match well, and there are only a couple of small faults that have already been pointed out. I love it all the same though. I always find that if you are making a scene painting, putting people in it is generally a bad idea. Keep up the good work!
I like Sonic in Brawl. He has pretty Final Smash.

Well i'd say it not that hard as a art exam is10-18 hours depending on what year your'e doing. Good job on you're painting man, i like the tree leaves they look the best as they can be a bitch to get right.
Verry good! Only thing is the wheel of the catr looks like it's leaning on the cart itself, but its barely noticable.
wow thanks for the comments guys! sorry though i cant really post the source, its in class and i dont think my teacher will let me take it home.
the reason i didnt use a ruler for the windows is that i wanted to measure everything with my eyes and my brush to improve.
the wagon wheel does look a bit flat now that i see it but i dont think i want to touch it anymore lol, that would mean repainting the wagon, wheel, grass, and parts of the floor and this took me way too long.
oh also i will post another one in a few weeks so stay tuned.
WOW, I didn't know people could still paint like that. That's awesome, the wheel looks fine to me but then again, I can't draw a straight line. 5/5

thanks man! i appreciate the comment.
It looks great, the proportions are off a little, but that really adds to the overall effect.
Freedom of Speech: Priceless, for everything else there's MasterCard
remember when we were talking in that one thread where we try to draw other people's styles? Well, I don't think I could do this even if I had painting skills. I did notice the proportion problems that the other were talking about, but it's still good.
nice job!

It actually looks fine. It IS possible for the wheel to be at that angle in real life, so it's fine. The windows are fine. It would hardly look different if they were perfectly aligned, and in fact, it might look a bit fake. Overall, Nice Work! :D
thanks for the comments man, how long has your friend been painting? im always looking for some help when it comes to my art. anyway tell her that if she has an account, her opinion and criticism would be much appreciated. if not than she can email me at ujexsamo@yahoo.com thanks again.
did you do an underpainting? it feels a little washed, as far as color composition goes. i'm actually really into the perspective (or lack of), but i'm almost positive you didn't intend it to come off that way. it's a really basic principle, but foreshortening is probably what you're having a problem with. i do enjoy it, though. what school do you go to?

umm, i take a lesson every Saturday, it lasts about 3 hours and thats it. ive also been taking art history in college lately but it doesnt really have much to do with the practice of painting, we just analyze old work.
also i do have a bit of a problem with foreshortening, yes but i mean i am a novice painter so im hopeing to improve with experience. my major problem however, isnt with color or depth, its with sketching. i cant seem to scale anything, but i guess that, that will change with more practice. thank you for your comment.
