Text scroller

[BAFA]

I am trying to figure out how to make scrolleble text in flash. Like if you look at a page in IE, you can scroll down. I want that in flash too. But i don't know how!

I've checked flashkit.com, but the stuff i found there was a little bit beond my knowledge.

Anybody wanna help a bit?

Ok, i really don't get this... how to make a dynamic text field? What is a var? And so on...

... maybe i should just go kill myself?

to make a dynamic text field act like your making a regular text box by clicking on the text tool and then open the property inspector and you'll be able to change "static" to "dyncamic"

A "var" is short for the word "variable", if that helps any...

why dont you use the scroller that flash comes with, just check out your components thing
