Ctrl+Shift+C opens up the cheat menu, type freedom.
It removes the complexity meter.
Been screwing around with the new patch lately.
Probably going to get my ass kicked for necro-posting but oh well. Anyway, my creature/mech made out of captain parts. The base of it is simply two spine pieces and a pair of low complexity legs to let me use near enough as much detailing as I want in the final product (actually did run out in the end, but I wanted to upload it onto the sporepedia for others to see, so no freedom cheat).
