I just think its hilarious that some people who you have pissed off or piss you off go through your audio and vote 0 on everything. cause something going from 4.17 to 3.59 after 12 votes reqiures either lvl 30 or a big fat 0. They're fucking cowards and instead of talking to you they cripple you from behind.

I dun think ppl deserve to suffer because 1 user out of like 3 million doesn't like them.

REAPER OF RATINGS i'm not trying to be a hater. ppl like you are essential to the audio in cleaning up. But seriously. I pissed off one person and all my scores fell. And my songs are actually decent.

ppl who zero bomb for fun or revenge are another group of ppl. Reaper of ratings doesn't go in that group. I could tell who 0 bombed all my stuff but he probably send another wave of 0's to my place.

In conclusion there are ppl like reaper of ratings who vote zero because and submission absolutely fucking sucks, and I respect him for that. but then there are ppl who vote zero for revenge. and some of those ppl don't even have any audio.

I ditched the ratings recorder idea. its uesless. I think a better idea would be when you vote 0 you HAVE to write a review.

You only "suffer" from zero bombing if you let it get to you. These are virtual scores on a website. To let them affect you as much as people do on this site is unhealthy.

Yes, I realize that. but for most ppl NG is the only way they can broadcast their audio. It discourages talented artists when a song they worked on for weeks get zeroed.

Personally, I really don't give a shit about zero bombers, because I have plenty of friends in real life who like my stuff. But I'm worried about ppl who don't have any real life friends and the NG community is all they have.

fair enough - as you can see from his thread though there are enough people that also support it though. It's all got to do with perspective, and happens whether you like it or not. At least he has standards when he does it - he doesnt just zero everything.

I think what's key in what Reaper does is that he helps weed out talented from untalented. Anyone can put time and alot of effort into producing electronic music, but some people just don't have what it takes. If the people who don't have what it takes give up the craft, then GOOD. Not everyone was born to produce!

And producing is more than just for fun.

I don't even think they listen to the songs that they do that to, though, so if it's just completely arbitrary and doesn't relate to the music in any way, there's no real reason to get upset about it. People can still find your stuff if they look for it and/or care enough.
