Oh wow, Otis the Aardvark. Who remembers this amazing character?
Every day when I came home from school, this lovable puppet would be on CBBC to entertain me.
A sad day it was when they stopped using him. I remember them telling us that he was going to work in the BBC canteen, but I knew the truth. OTIS WAS DEAD.

ITT: Memorable childhood figures that disappeared out of our lives for no good fucking reason >:(

Props to ZAAL for reminding me of otis with his gay cat and dog thread <3

Everyone raves about that programme but I hated it mainly because I couldn't stand mashed potatoes when I was a child.

And Otis was awesome, I had forgotten all about him.

R.I.P Badger. Bodger got tired of his shit and bludgeoned him to death with a rolling pin.

Otis the Aardvark! Better times when kids TV was simple and not filled with angst and teenage "problems". Good times.

I remember a while back when D-Lucks Edition made a thread about El Nombre. I liked El Nombre.

What about Zig and Zag? I liked them as a kid too.

He was a dick and had feminine eyelashes, nowhere near as good as Zig and Zag.

I didn't even know what it was back then. I was so young, I thought it was a type of pudding. :(

Also, Chuckle Brothers with their gameshow 'To Me, To You', the ITV kid's gameshow 'Fun House' which had a huge course at the end with prizes and balloons, there was also a water kid's gameshow called 'Get wet!' and I still remember this mad cartoon I used to love which had a red devil as a police officer and had a castle in the introduction to it, too. Forgot the name but it was a british cartoon show thingy.

The 90s was fucking brilliant.
