Will there EVER be a Con in the UK?

If memory serves correctly, I voted for Chuck's New Tux, Story of Khale 2, Primal War 17, Weebl and Bob: Frank, and Spares. Nice to see them all up there.

While I'm not surprised, I must say I'm quite disappointed to see "Brawl Taunts", "Irod Bad!", and "Sonic Shorts Volume 3" even on the list, much less beating out far more deserving titles.

However, the people have spoken and all that. I guess after all these years, I best get with the times and either go along with this or shut up. Of the two options, I'd prefer to (and would only ever) do the second, but I doubt I'll be able to do either.

Also, Big Apple Con sounds awesome and I will try very hard to be there next year.

I think the closest we've really got is a UK Webcomix Thing in London, that Weebl, Eddsworld and other webcomicers go to. I didn't go to it this year cos I had no money at the time.

Don't forget about the few NG saddos who are showing up at Anime Expo 08, Tom.

But yeh, apart from the few that people have already whined about, it's nice to see some good original stuff getting into the top 5. Chuck's New Tux in particular is one of my faves.

I hated the Last Stand 2, it was the same game with a few new features.

Applecon was great, it felt more genuine and real. Comicon is this huge convention where you're overshadowed by huge ass companies like Warner Brothers, and not that many people seemed to know what NG was. Applecon is more laid back and seemed like NG had a fitting place there. Looking forward to joining up with you guys on more adventures like this.
