I just had a brilliant, yet simple idea while recording my drumset sounds and some ambient nature outside, could we make a sound effects genre on newgrounds? It would be different than say, voice acting, for example, because the main idea is sounds in the world, such as nature, maybe a punching noise, something. This could be a bad idea because it'd be easier to plagiarize sounds from other sites that offer their sounds for free. or for a price.

It isn't. but I dun think NG would make a whole genre devoted to 3 second clips.

IDM or Alternative is one NG could use, so that all these things could fit in as sub genres
