my parents know that i smoke weed,and they were like..well you have to try things in life,and make yoru own choices on how you wanna live your life,and that was about it...and i'm still smoking to this day

He said son I am doing it for just medical reasons and I said well for medical reasons I need to take a shit so can you leave now.

Well, yesterday I told them.

I did it so that my mom would trust me more and so that when I came home blasted I wouldn't be all paranoid.

I could never tell my parents something like that.

Needless to say...I realized that day that my parents were children of the 60's. Total hippies. Granted, I was in college at the time so it wasn't like I was a kid, but still. It made me laugh.

If I ever have kids I already know what it's going to be like when they come up to me and tha missus telling us they smoked pot.

Kid: Mom, Dad, I've tried pot.

Mom: That's ok, I used to smoke it too.

Me: I'm glad you're honest with me. Now tell me again, where do you want your body dumped after I kill you?

Its better to be honest and get there trust weed is nothing bad its just the goddamn politions making it out to be dangerous

My dad just helped me seperate my skunk plants, they're doing well. Seriously, parents don't give a shit unless you start doing pills.

No we listened to GOA, TRANCE and DRUM AND BASS all night, smoke loads of ganj, talked about shit, he told me about when he lived in goa, and you know had a good father son moment. Neither of Us actually take E anymore... Just the odd occasion here and there, I mean we smoked crack(a couple of times and never again) together and ganj and got pissed since i was 13ish... but we had never dropped together.

Shame My step dad is such an asshole really. Otherwise I would prolly be able to get my mum to have a toke with me too.. she ain't against it at all. She just "doesn't feel the need anymore".

I voluntarily told my dad that i smoked pot and i have smoked with my mom before.
However its not like they can control me, i'm 21 and i live in chicago now.
so don't sweat it, as long as you can keep an honest and open mind everything should be fine. just don't let pot take control of your life. it happened to one of my old friends and they never finished high school.

I remember the one conversation I had with my parents RE: pot. Basically my mother said that if I was ever interested in trying it, to just ask, and they'd let me smoke with them.

of course, I'd been pinching from their stash for years by that point.

But it'd just be weird smoking with your parents, you know? I didn't accept the offer :P

If i would tell my parents, my dad would no longer accept me as a child or so. He's quite a strikt Katholic, he also is complaining about me drinking alcohol and having sex with my gf.
My mom would first be angry and then accept it, just like she did when i told her i drink and i have sex.
